Pipes Reinforced Concrete Pipes
Tinnea & Associates is experienced in investigating and controlling corrosion in prestressed concrete pipe and mortar-lined pipe. Problems can result from ground water outside the pipe, corrosive material inside the pipe, and stray current. Congestion in utility right-of-ways, DC rail traffic, and welding operations are common sources of stray electrical current.

Concrete and Ceramic Pipes
Tinnea & Associates has investigated the chemical attach of non-reinforced pipes. We have staff members with over 25 years experience in the chemistry of portland cement based products. Our work includes industrial process work and damage to sewer systems by aggressive effluents.

Metal Pipes
Tinnea & Associates has helped many clients resolve ductile and cast iron pipe corrosion problems. With these structures electrical continuity is an issue that must be addressed. We have also solved corrosion problems for owners of welded steel, corrogated steel pipes and pipes fabricated from aluminum and stainless steels
